A luxury family-friendly hotel set in horticultural heaven with a great swimming pool and fine dining.
It’s at Shangri-La Singapore where opulently dressed doormen greet you on arrival. You can spend languorous days flitting from botanical gardens to the beautiful pool or catapult yourself along Orchard Road for luxury shopping malls. Featuring a collection of international cuisines from Europe, China and Japan, you can expect epicurean excellence in settings as refined and elegant as the menus.
Why we love Shangri-La Singapore
-
Three distinct wings, the peaceful Garden Wing, exclusive Valley Wing and contemporary Tower Wing.
-
Kids are catered for with themed family suites, water slides and an interactive indoor space.
-
The indulgent and dainty afternoon tea at The Rose Veranda.
-
A tranquil escape but also close to Singapore’s heritage, arts and architecture.
Rooms
There are almost 800 rooms that are located in three separate wings – the Garden Wing, the Valley Wing and the newly renovated Tower Wing. The Garden Wing Deluxe Rooms each feature a furnished balcony and you can opt for pool or city skyline views. Rooms in the beautifully restored Tower Wing include Deluxe Rooms and Horizon Club Deluxe Rooms. Guests in the Valley Wing rooms can enjoy a host of added benefits such as access to an exclusive lounge.
Facilities
As well as dining at the restaurants on Orchard Road, you can savour culinary delights at the hotel’s award-winning restaurants. For a taste of the Orient, try the fine dining Cantonese restaurant Shang Palace or Zeniya Singapore for creative Japanese dishes. The all-day dining restaurant The Line is a modern space where buffet dishes from around the world are available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another option is Waterfall Ristorante Italiano which is delightfully located in the midst of the hotel’s pretty gardens or head to The Grill for chargrilled steaks and the catch of the day. For a traditional Singapore experience, take high tea at the Rose Veranda or a signature cocktail in the Origin Bar or Lobby Lounge.
The Line
Serving a feast of international and local specialty dishes from the show kitchens for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Origin Grill
Sourcing environmentally responsible produce from artisan farmers, there is plenty of natural flavours served at Origin Grill.
Waterfall Ristorante Italiano
As the name would suggest the focus here is on Italian cuisine – particularly from the south of the country.
Shang Palace
Here you can sample authentic Cantonese, Shanghainese and Szechuan cuisine while surrounded by beautiful décor inspired by a Chinese garden.
Origin Bar
Celebrating the age of train travel, the Origin Bar is the place for quirky cocktails and a range of bar snacks.
Lobby Lounge
The perfect spot to enjoy a buffet lunch, afternoon tea or pre-dinner aperitif.
The Rose Veranda
High tea is something of a Singapore tradition and at the Shangri-La it is served in a buffet style here.
Shophouse by Shangri-La
Between meals, grab a cake, pastry or cookie from the lobby bakery.
The tasting menus at Shang Palace offer a great selection of Chinese favourites.
Whats Included
Breakfast at The Line (or Horizon Club Lounge for club guests).
