Mykonos holidays are lobster plucked straight from the water, Champagne by the bottle and white hot summers dipped in Aegean blue.
There’s the scent of lemons, the taste of Masitha liqueur and sorbet, that wild Meltemi northern wind and those iconic sunsets turning the sky every delicious shade imaginable – think purples, pinks and reds. Filled with sumptuous hotels, those famous windmills and a white-washed network of cobblestoned streets, Mykonos holidays are a perfect Instagram picture brought to life. Cycladic island architecture is as white as the linens locals wear and as cobalt as the sea. Sugar cube shaped buildings and fairytale blue domed churches sit between bougainvillea and fig trees, and in no time at all you’ll be perched in a pretty garden dining on fresh red snapper.
Superyachts dock at Psarou Beach, driftwood bars have you mooching over daytime martinis and glossy clubs propped up by world class DJ’s dish out Cristal by night turning the island into a glittering party mecca. The smell of leather and candles drifts through a maze of exquisite boutiques staying open long after dusk – head to capital Chora for the crème de la crème – and in iconic restaurants bathed in rose gold light or tucked inside caves hanging over the sea are award winning chefs, gourmet menus and haute-couture-clad staff.
You’ll meet the island’s famous pink pelicans, sail over to ancient ruins on Delos and visit almost impossibly tiny churches. But mostly, you’ll find that holidays to Mykonos are all about an agenda of how easily obtainable the beautiful life is; the call of white sands and turquoise seas, super-hot restaurant reservations, movies under the stars and utopian hotels where pools are studded with sparkling lights.
If you’re ready for an island escape like no other, call us today and we’ll start crafting your Mykonos holiday.

Where is Mykonos?
In the middle of the Aegean Sea, tiny Mykonos is one of the Cyclades islands and lies 90 miles southeast of Athens.
Island explorations
Tear yourself away from the lavish breakfasts, extended lunches and late-night partying and there’s a lot to see and do on this tiny Cycladic Island. Little Venice, a quarter in the capital Chora, is one of the most photographed towns in Europe, filled with medieval houses teetering on the edge of the sea. Come here for art galleries, gorgeous lunch spots, beautiful sunsets and a walk to the famous snow-white windmills. Visit the five tiny churches of Panagia Paraportiani in Kastro, the monastery of Panagia Tourliani in Ano Mera and the 4th-Century Agios Nikolakis church in the old port of Mykonos town, famed for its dazzling blue dome.
Beaches
Ornos Bay – where superyachts dock and sunsets are magnificent – lies just a few miles from Mykonos Town and its excellent beach slopes into shallow, serene waters. Head to Paradise Beach to party, Platys Gialos if you’re looking for family-friendly vibes and Psarou Beach to hang out with the glamorous crowd.
Getting around
Sea taxis will take to you the best of the island’s beaches and buses connect you to the most popular villages and beaches. Taxis are available but with only 30 on the island, queues are always long. Car hire is the best option, giving you the freedom to explore on your own schedule and allowing you to venture further to the more remote north. Bear in mind that parking spaces are not easy to find during peak season, so it’s a good idea to park next to the old port and walk from there. Being a small island, bike hire is worth considering too but be prepared for this infamous Greek island hills.
Food & drink
Fresh chargrilled red snapper, lobster pasta, fish ceviche, garlic shrimp, Cristal, Masitha liqueur… some of the most memorable moments on Mykonos are experienced at those irresistible restaurants and bars. Although many of the island’s restaurants come with high prices and a decadent atmosphere, you’ll also find plenty of beachfront bars and tiny tavernas. But if it’s excess you want, there’s plenty of it – 24-hour beach clubs, award-winning wine cellars, gorgeous hillside restaurants overlooking the sea.
