Equinox Hotel

Futuristic uber-luxury

There’s nothing remotely average about Equinox Hotel New York. Everything is either different or better. And its location in the sensational Hudson Yards, right next door to The Edge, couldn’t be more fitting.

The dynamic, future-forward neighbourhood of Hudson Yards is the perfect location for Equinox Hotel New York. On the doorstep, there’s access to the High Line, designer shops, and luxury dining. Plus, it pretty much shares an address with The Edge, a 100-storey skyscraper with an incredible suspended observation deck. It’s the ultra-hip atmosphere of The Equinox that helps it stand out. It commands a sophisticated social scene, including a simply stunning rooftop terrace, Electric Lemon. Born from a fitness brand, Equinox naturally has a healthy body mantra, but that doesn’t mean that night-time libations are off-limits – the cocktail menu and wine list are seriously impressive.

Ingredients at Electronic Lemon Restaurant have been sourced from growers and farmers from the mid-Atlantic region and can be enjoyed in the lounge or on the Rooftop Terrace.

Electronic Lemon Restaurant
Located on the 24th floor, the dishes at Electronic Lemon have been created using seasonal produce.

Electronic Lemon Lounge
Serving sophisticated cocktails in a sophisticated setting.

Rooftop Terrace
A great spot for weekend brunch and sunset cocktails.

Overlooking the famous NYC skyline, the Hudson River and dominated by the Jaume Plensa sculpture, the Rooftop Terrace is the place to see and be seen.

If the hotel’s nightlife takes its toll, work it off in the expansive gym or try a SoulCycle session where in the dimly lit setting, music sets the energy as you work out. At the space-age spa and try a ‘quantum harmonics’ therapy that promises a powernap worth three hours of sleep in just 30 minutes.

Hudson Yards has plenty to offer the visitor with a multitude of shops, restaurants and bar to explore. If you have a head for heights, take the elevator 100 stories up at Edge and head out on the glass-floored sky deck for 360-degree views of the city. Download the hotel's app and you can plan your activities before and during your stay. It becomes your mobile key, room controls, allows you to book restaurant reservations and fitness classes.

If you have time between sightseeing, there is a 25-yard saltwater lap pool indoors, although most people opt for the outdoor pool as you can take in the city views between lengths.
