Hotel Luna: the museum hotel in historic Vigan

Hotel Luna is a unique museum hotel set in the heart of the heritage capital, Vigan – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The story of our hotel dates back to 1882, when Don Jose Florentino built the four-storey property as a wedding gift for his daughter Doña, naming it the Doña Carmen Florentino House. Today, the building has been completely restored into the first and only museum hotel in the Philippines.

What’s really special about Hotel Luna is our sala museum, which has a collection of work from renowned Filipino artists like BenCAB, Fernando Amorsolo and Juan Luna. Guests are usually blown away by the art as well as the hotel building, with its grand Spanish colonial design, opera balcony and hand-carved ceilings hung with chandeliers. Our location is also perfect for exploring Vigan. We’re just two minutes from the famous cobbled street Calle Crisologo, which is filled with nostalgic, Spanish-era buildings.

Our Azotea rooftop is one of the most popular spots for guests to have a drink and relax, as it offers a stunning 360-degree view of Vigan City. We’re also the only hotel in central Vigan with a scenic elevator and a pool, located in the courtyard, which is perfect for cooling off after you’ve been sightseeing around Vigan. Although our rooms have a traditional, old-world design, we’ve also incorporated the latest technology like digital entertainment systems for your comfort.

Guests often say the local staff at Hotel Luna make them feel very welcome and we get a lot of comments about the delicious food at our restaurant, Comedor. Our executive chef is a master of Ilocano cuisine created with Spanish flare and one of his must-try dishes is the paella. You can finish your meal with a dink at our Chula Saloon Bar which, along with the Comedor, is decorated with beautiful paintings and sculptures.
