Azeria La Residence Hue

Azerai La Residence is an impressive art deco hotel on the banks of the Perfume River in Hue, which was originally the grand mansion of a French governor in 1930. Since then, two extra wings have been added but the architecture continues to provoke the colonial period in the 122 rooms and suites. Guests really enjoy the property’s grand architecture and historic features.

As a five-star boutique property, Azerai is the most luxurious hotel in Hue and offers excellent service. Guests can enjoy superior facilities such as a classy bar and La Perfume Restaurant, which offers fine dining and traditional Hue cuisine. There’s also a tropical garden and two pools, one of which is saltwater, as well as wellness amenities like a spa, fitness centre and tennis courts.

One of the hotel’s best features is its location on the Perfume River, opposite Hue’s Imperial Citadel, so balconies have fantastic views. Azerai is on the city’s main tree-lined boulevard which is filled with colourful colonial villas and government buildings that have been there since the 1930s. There’s a boat station right next to the hotel, so guests can sail directly to Thieu Mu Pagoda and it’s easy to cross the river to Hue’s main sights, like the Citadel itself.
