The bush breakfast at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp

When guests arrive to a full set-up with an outdoor kitchen, private chef and waiter, they’re amazed…

By Mohamed Iribo
Safari Guide at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp

Wake up to views of Loisaba conservancy after a night under the stars and then enjoy a private breakfast in the middle of the bush. We usually take guests to the breakfast site by camel, on horseback or after an early-morning game drive. When guests arrive to a full set-up with an outdoor kitchen, private chef and waiter, they’re amazed.

You’ll be greeted with a mimosa and a table laid with colourful fruit platters, granola and pastries, which you can enjoy while the chef whips up your choice of cooked breakfast. Guests really love bush dining because it’s such a unique experience, like a restaurant in the wilderness complete with silverware and a private kitchen. As you eat, you can take in views of the Loisaba landscape and spot animals in the distance.

Your journey will start with one of our UK team – someone like Annette, who's travelled extensively in Kenya. They’ll shape your ideas into the trip of a lifetime. But they won't do it alone. They'll draw on the expertise of our contacts on the ground, connecting you to the people who'll make your holiday one you'll always remember - the rangers who'll ensure you'll spot the best wildlife in the Mara, the village chiefs who'll give you a genuine insight into local life and the camp managers who can recommend the very best spot for your sundowner.
