The vantage point breakfast with Serengeti views

There’s no other place in the Maasai Mara where you can look out onto the Serengeti while sipping a nice prosecco…

Vantage point breakfast at Mara Engai

Have breakfast on a clifftop with Maasai Mara views that stretch into the Serengeti. Mara Engai lies on the 300-acre Oloololo Escarpment, which sits 1,000 feet above sea level, offering sweeping views over the plains. It’s particularly amazing during the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest, zebra and antelope journey from Tanzania to Kenya. Our special vantage point breakfast spot is one of the best places to appreciate this incredible scenery.

Guests usually start the day with a 6am game drive to watch the Maasai Mara wake up, then end the drive at our vantage point. There will be a table waiting for you on the rocks with unrivalled views of the landscape. It’s an intimate set-up for two people, complete with a fully cooked and a continental breakfast spread. There’s no other place in the Mara where you can sit and look out onto the Serengeti while sipping a nice prosecco – it’s a unique, atmospheric experience.

Your journey will start with one of our UK team – someone like Annette, who's travelled extensively in Kenya. They’ll shape your ideas into the trip of a lifetime. But they won't do it alone. They'll draw on the expertise of our contacts on the ground, connecting you to the people who'll make your holiday one you'll always remember - the rangers who'll ensure you'll spot the best wildlife in the Mara, the village chiefs who'll give you a genuine insight into local life and the camp managers who can recommend the very best spot for your sundowner.
