The Victoria Can Tho Resort: a luxury riverside hotel in the Mekong Delta

The Victoria Can Tho Resort sits right on the Hau riverbank in the Mekong Delta and is ideal for visits to Cai Rang floating market. Although we’re just a short walk from busy Can Tho city, the resort has a serene feel, with tropical gardens which feature two swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers. The gardens also have thatched-roof huts where you can enjoy a relaxing spa treatment.

Our guests love to take boat trips from Victoria Can Tho around the Mekong Delta’s canals and to nearby Cai Rang. This is the biggest floating market in the region, where visitors can watch local people trading all kinds of fruit, vegetables and locally-produced goods on their boats. Although the hotel is less than 30 years old, it’s built in historic colonial style, with dark wood and local Vietnamese touches such as patterned throws.

The eight suites we offer face the river, while deluxe rooms have a pool or garden view and our Spice Restaurant offers al fresco Vietnamese dining by the waterfront. Many visitors comment on our friendly, courteous staff, who come from the Mekong Delta and like to share their local knowledge. We’re now trying to make our hotels as eco-friendly as possible, using paper straws and replacing all plastic bottles with glass ones.
